My name is Dark Angel. The Free/Roam/Soul is dedicated to the mystery that is me, & the countless MASSIVE who’ve asked, “What’s it all mean?”
Who am I? Well that’s where things start getting interesting. Dark Angel. A man, a mystique, and the greatest pickup line of all time. It’s also my name. My REAL name. It’s the reason I started this blog, it’s how my life is never boring, and it’s why they call me D-2-da-A! And if you came here to tell me my name isn’t real because I had it legally changed, then GTFH, this blog isn’t for you.
What Am I? Well I could tell you I’m a drug dealer, but Tim Ferriss said it best, and I’m afraid some people might actually believe that (-_-’). No friend, I’m a alchemist. An alchemist? Yes, an alchemist. I do the impossible with very little help, materials, or experience. You need not believe that, but those that know me have seen it firsthand. And for me, that alone is enough to prove I’m not crazy…(at least not entirely…)
When it comes to the name, I find that people often confuse the alleged meaning, with the finite purpose. As if the name is a symbolic token, and the final product is something I wear as a badge of honor. This misconception, an outstanding general consensus, is founded in nothing more than the fact that these individuals seem to see it as the only logical explanation possible. When in truth, the name itself means nothing. No matter how big a reputation it carries, or how many questions it raises, at the end of the day it’s just a name. A rose by any other name is still a rose; end of the day, that’s all there is to it. However, the reasons behind picking the name are very symbolic, and very personal. They are something I do not talk about; an explanation owed to no one.
However, the dashing face behind the name tells the story of an indomitable, street-savvy, commonsense-using, over-achieving gentleman that is any thing but the book you are judging by his cover. The actions of said gentleman (who’s quite the looker, if I do say so myself) reveal a philosophy seeped in precision, and born of sacrifice beyond imagine. This philosophy, a driving force behind my actions & a pillar of testament to the trial and error I’ve bore by Fate’s hand.

However normally there isn’t any need to explain any of this, as my reputation usually proceeds me.
In addition to the blog, I spend my free time webcomic writing, podcasting, doing PR & management for a small collab of anime fans, traveling, freelancing, and listening to drum & bass music. All the while trying to complete my Bachelor’s in Finance (Minor Theatre). In addition to myself, I use this blog to talk about a variety of topics I’m interested in. I want to focus on these subjects neither as expert or amateur, but rather as a student. Because life without knowledge is meaningless.
This blog is NOT a testament to my self-importance. Nor is it an absolute F.A.Q. to all things D-2-da-A. It’s just a chronicle of the day-to-day mishaps I call life. You may not find the answers you seek here, but if you ever wanted to know what makes me tick, then you definitely came to the right place.
