For the 1st time ever, Superbowl tickets sold for $1,000. So? Why should you care? Well, typically speaking, mega events like the Super Bowl boost local economies around the country year-round. And while that might not mean much to the average anime fan, you can bet your biscuits the average con-goer will feel it this year. Anime Expo badges are made for the paid at $70 @ door, and Otakon pre-reg is up to $55 for the 1st time ever. I don’t think cons will get that much more expensive, but I think there will be a slight increase across the board.
