Most fans will agree that an online presence is a plus. Something anime companies had seemingly been lacking for a while, it seems some have once again taken a shine to fan presence. Funimation & Tokyopop both have youtube accounts. Far too many groups than I can name have twitters. It’s this type of communication that gives fans a [once rare] look into the inner machinations of their favorite companies and hopefully helps companies make decisions that take fan opinions and suggestions into account.
