So the 50 State Challenge is, in short, a quest to see all 50 states in the U.S.. The original idea is not mine, however da inspiration’s a lil unique. I’ve lived in about 20+ states since birth, and even though there are vivid oral accounts and pix from others to prove this, I simply can not remember a lot of it. So I decided to see them all for myself (again) and finish the trip while I’m at it.
Rules:
1. Must document self doing something in each state on film.
2a. Must acquire state-exclusive souvenir.
2b. Souvenir may be substituted with a picture of said artifact in the event that the souvenir is biodegradable, or fragile to the point of being broken/damaged (glass, paper, etc) within the year.
2c. If state-exclusive souvenir cannot be obtained, item must be substituted with State Map from Visitor Center/Rest Stop.
2d. Must document artifact on film.
3. Must take mad pictures! Pictures will be subsequently uploaded onto Myspace & Facebook. Shots include, but are not limited to:
>>>Visitor’s center/Rest stop pic
>>>Pic with resident(s) from that state
>>>Restaurant pic (aiming for rare or local places here)
>>>Tourists exhibit pic
>>>Crazy street name pic
4. Must compile all artifacts into one kickass scrapbook.
*Bonus Points:
1. Must reside in state at least 3 days; No less than 60 hours. This need not be done at once, days may accumulate over time.
2. If at all possible, bring friends. But not too many as it would drive everyone crazy.
